How does the engagement and wedding ring thing work?
My boyfriend and I decided to get marry next month nothing big but the sooner the better. I have no idea what the rules about the rings are. Is he suppose to buy me an engagement ring and then a wedding ring or can you buy them as a pair and just wear one until you’re marry or do you need to have an engagement ring and buy a separate one to get married. Help!
Either way you want. We bought mine as a set and bought his separately. They don’t match, but we didn’t care. I wear the engagement ring now and will wear the set when we’re married. Honestly I think it’s better to buy as a set because you can’t always find a band to match the engagement ring.
After you’re married the band goes on your finger first and then the engagement ring unless you have a ring jacket(that’s what we got).
